Daddy's Photo Album » Goals

To honor my dad’s memory.

Daddy and Skippy
To support Operation Baghdad Pups and Nowzad Dogs.

U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan befriend local animals as a way to help cope with the emotional hardships they endure every day while deployed in a war zone. As you will see from many of the pictures I upload, my dad befriended numerous local dogs while serving in Panama.

And I’m certain he would have been thankful his entire life if he had been able to bring even one of them home.

Both the Operation Baghdad Pups and Nowzad programs provide veterinary care and coordinate complicated logistics and transportation requirements in order to reunite these beloved pets with their service men and women. These important animals not only help our heroes in the war zone, but they also help them readjust to life back home after combat. Donate directly to Operation Baghdad Pups or Nowzad Dogs.

Unknown Soldier
To provide family members of the men pictured on this web site with high-resolution copies of the pictures. If you are related to one of the men in pictures posted on this site and would like better copies of the pictures posted here, please post a comment in the comment section of the picture and I will contact you.

Unknown Boat
To identify the place and/or objects in many of the posted pictures. There are numerous pictures of boats, buildings, and places that have no written notations on them. I’d like to be able to put a “caption” on those pictures and I believe there will be people visiting this site who have the knowledge to assist me with this goal.

Wow! What an incredible concept and site! I hope you are able to achieve your goals many times over. I think this is an outstanding way to bring honor to your dad. I’m going to pass your url on to my friend who is in the beginning stages of setting up a rehab program for American veterans. I applaud you for this project and congratulations on it!
