Rebel (Harry E. Thompson?)

“Rebel” is another soldier known only by the nickname written on this photograph.

There is, however, a possible hint in the Friendship Book:

If that was written by the man called “Rebel” (and it does seem likely), then this is Mr. Harry E. Thompson of Birmingham, Alabama.
